Observations
key things to the couple
The 'random information' section with all the odds and ends I couldn't fit elsewhere.symbolism
A lot of key relationships in FFVII have a special identifying 'place', such as the Nibelheim well for Cloud and Tifa, and the church for Cloud and Aeris. For Vincent and Lucrecia, I'd say this 'place' would have to be this pretty hill overlooking Nibelheim. This is where one of Vincent's fondest memories took place, not to mention this is where they returned -- in spirit -- when Lucrecia pleaded for Vincent's forgiveness. It symbolizes the happier days between the two, which now can only be felt in a dream: "The warm breeze on our skin...I know that it no longer exists."
apologies
Vincent and Lucrecia were absolutely unable to put any blame on the other for all the wonky things in their relationship. Some people found Lucrecia's constant "I'm so sorry"s annoying, which I can understand (since that kind of habit usually is very irritating), but I didn't mind it in her case. Both of them felt a lot of remorse for making the wrong decisions in the past and letting the other suffer, which speaks about how much they cared about each other."I'm so sorry."
"Why? I'm the one who should apologize."
