Welcome to Even in Distance, a text-heavy tribute and approved fanlisting for the pairing of Vincent/Lucrecia (Final Fantasy VII). I have a lot to say about the couple, and even more so when you consider how few people like it. The site also serves as a look into Lucrecia Crescent herself; the poor lady is sadly hated on by most of the fan community, and it considerably saddens me. Though she isn't my favorite character or even my favorite female character, it's impossible to deny just how important she is to Vincent.

Before we start, a few notes about the content: seeing as Vincent and Lucrecia's relationship was mainly expanded upon in Dirge of Cerberus, I will refer frequently to that game. That's not to say I won't consider the original game's telling, but it's certainly not my main focus. Secondly, although the written content is grounded in fact, I do have to infer from time to time. Since Vincent-Lucrecia interaction has always been on the vague side, I will have to rely on my own interpretations for many of the things I write.

However, this does not mean I'm going to fill this entire site with lists of "Why Vincent/Lucrecia is Canon". Nononono. I think those kinds of things are more annoying than convincing; all you will find here is information about the pairing itself, not why it's better/more canon than others.

That said, I hope you enjoy the site. I don't doubt that it's more than a pile of self-indulgent, biased-like-heck pairing rambling, but I did put a lot of hard work into it!
