Welcome to Even in Distance, a text-heavy tribute and approved fanlisting for the pairing of Vincent/Lucrecia (Final Fantasy VII). With this fansite, I hope to provide a bit of insight on this much-maligned relationship and Lucrecia Crescent herself -- the poor lady is sadly hated on by most of the fan community, and this considerably saddens me. Though she isn't my favorite character or even my favorite female character, it's impossible to deny just how important she is to Vincent.

Before we start, a few notes about the content: Vincent and Lucrecia's relationship was mainly expanded upon in Dirge of Cerberus, so I will refer frequently to that game. That's not to say I won't consider the original game's telling, but it's not my main focus. Secondly, although the written content is grounded in fact, I do have to infer from time to time. Vincent-Lucrecia interaction has always been on the vague side, making personal interpretation somewhat of a necessity.

However, this does not mean I'm going to fill this entire site with lists of "Why Vincent/Lucrecia is Canon". Nononono. I think those kinds of things are more annoying than convincing; what you will find here is information about the pairing itself, not why it's better/more canon than others.
